It’s becoming increasingly clear that many voters who initially supported President Donald Trump are now expressing regret online. This shift in sentiment is largely due to the negative impact of the new administration’s policies on their lives.
Democrats are collecting examples and showcasing some of the stories on Daily Dot.
I don’t feel an ounce of sympathy for Trump supporters who lost their jobs or medical or welfare benefits. By 2024, they were fully warned. Everyone had the book on convicted felon Donald Trump.
Moreover, President Trump is doing what he told folks he would do, so his supporters shouldn’t feel blindsided. Unfortunately, too many assumed they wouldn’t be impacted by Trump’s reckless, poorly contrived decisions.
As long as other people suffer because of Trump, it’s OK right?
Over 200,000 federal workers have been terminated or will be by the end of April. The firings are largely attributed to efforts to reduce the size of the federal government, with many probationary employees being targeted. Despite claims of performance issues, many terminated employees had good performance records.
