Trump approval: President already getting RIPPED in NY’s downstate suburbs

A recent Siena College poll highlights a significant shift in Donald Trump’s approval ratings in the downstate suburbs. Over the past month, his approval has dropped from 58% to 46%, while disapproval increased from 41% to 51%. This represents a substantial 22-point swing in just one month, indicating a sharp decline in Trump’s popularity in this region.

This change is part of a broader trend where Trump’s overall job approval ratings have been declining. While his favorability ratings remain relatively stable, his job approval has taken a hit, particularly due to decreased support among Republicans and independents. Additionally, Trump’s efforts on specific issues, such as combating fentanyl, receive more positive assessments than his overall performance.

The protests and public sentiment against Trump and other figures like Elon Musk also reflect growing dissatisfaction among various groups, including those who were previously less politically active. Less than two months in Trump’s presidency, this hard shift in public opinion and political engagement could continue to impact Trump’s standing in the coming months.

We expect Trump’s national approval rating to dip into the 30’s by the end of the year if not by summer.
